Example One: TVöD-Pflege

The Tarifvertrag for Nursing Professionals (TVöD-Pflege) underscores the importance of fair compensation in the healthcare sector. For example, the latest Entgelttabelle (pay scale) ensures that nurses receive competitive wages based on their qualifications and experience, providing a transparent and structured salary framework. Example Two: Aviation Security Employees in NRW

The collective wage agreement for aviation security employees in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is a prime example of how Tarifverträge ensure fair wages and improved working conditions. The current agreement, valid until March31, 2025, highlights structured pay scales and progressive benefits tailored to specific roles within aviation security.

From January 1, 2025, aviation security employees in North Rhine-Westphalia(NRW) will benefit from significant improvements to their hourly wages. Employees in Wage Group III, which includes responsibilities like boarding passcontrol, will now earn €20.54 per hour, while those in Wage Group IV,such as providing wheelchair assistance at airports, will receive €16.51 per hour. Finally, employees in Wage Group V, often responsible for support services, will see their hourly wages increase to €15.68.
